So I have been super busy this year! Since my husband lost his job, I was thinking of a bunch of ways to keep us afloat...Selling on Ebay was helping, Heck, I even tried to sell Twinkies for Thousands...lol Oh Boy THAT turned out to be just a headache!! BUT It was resolved, donated 10% to the Children of Hurricane Sandy in the process. I sold a ton of items I had  here around the house, but I wanted to do more! I began trying to make "glitter heels" First Pair I bombed! What a mess! Finally the second time around I used a different method, different supplies & what a difference! So I  made a few flip flops, flats, jewelry, mostly Texans stuff because I am a Football Freak!! To make a very long story short, my shoes held up & my family loved them, so I kept creating. Once I got started, my mind was like on overload! I have a new facebook page HomemadeTexaStyle so check it out!

I know I've been away! 2013 a New Year!

So I know I have been away for some time, So much going on I can't even begin to tell you!! So not Looking back. Closing that Door and now enjoying life one day at a time! One thing at a time....lol Oh wait, I'm a mom...scratch that! Now I will continue to be positive because even when life seems like "misery"...I do realize that compared to someone else's life...I'm sure my life isn't that bad!! Life is too short! My boys are growing up so fast! I can't believe Tim will be 16 in November! Brandon will be a teenager in May, sigh....Anyone that knows me KNOWS....ALL MY GUYS ARE MY WORLD! I will Live Life & EMBRACE IT!! I will honor OUR dreams by nourishing them even when they seem impossible! I have let go of past regrets and burned bridges because I want to embrace the possibilities of the future! This doesn't mean everything is going to be "perfect" It means I've decided to look beyond the imperfections because I myself, am PERFECTLY IMPERFECT! NO EXCUSES, NO APOLOGIES, NO REGRET!! My wish for you is happiness, good health, strength, & success! Here's to a great 2013!!

Whitney Houston has definitely been an inspiration to me, with the voice of an angel, always flawless.

Barbra Streisand said "She had everything, beauty, a magnificent voice. How sad her gifts could not bring her the same happiness they brought us."
